# My SVO6 Plus Doesn't Want to Recognize the MicroSD Card

It didn’t want to recognize my SD Card after I turned off the printer. I had to force turn it off because (when I pressed stop) it wouldn’t go back home and I couldn’t press any buttons on the screen. I did format the card to FAT32 because it also wouldn’t recognize it before that. I formatted it again because I thought that would work but it didn’t. I haven’t used the SD card for a month and a half, so maybe that may have affected something? Does someone have a solution or a reason for this?

It was the SD card from the box, 8GB and yes, it had worked many times before. Also I haven’t used it for a month and a half so maybe that may have affected something?

Try a different SD Card, it’s always the first option.

Try formatting it again with “quick format” turned off and allocation unit size set to 4k.

Write a couple files to it and “check disk for errors” If none delete the files and EJECT before you pull it
