# How to change the camera

The camera on my SV06 plus ace has constant issues - super grainy picture, no picture, odd colors like a filters is out of place, etc. I ordered a new camera thinking it would come with the wires and I could just unplug the old one and then mount the new one and plug it in. It didn’t come with new wires - just the camera. I also can’t find a how-to article on safely switching out the camera. Can anyone point me to an article or video on how to replace the camera correctly, including disconnecting and reconnecting the wires?

It should just slide off like it slide on when you installed it.
You should find pics in the ACE manual.
Just unplug the printer, slide off the camera, remove the wire & plug it into the new cam…slide it back on.

I’m guessing your not nearly as dumb as I am. That being said, I just noticed there is a protective film on the cam I didn’t remove when I assembled my ACE. ( in December) Looks a little better now. Again more of a statement about my brain than it is helpful advice.
