As you know, chamber fan turns on @ 32C by default, I find this very annoying and I have to rush every time (e.g. after a reboot, with the printer warm) to set the chamber fan temperature to a setting that will turn off the annoying fan.

The fix is very simple, and it’s hidden, as usual, inside printer.cfg:

Just change the 32 value after “target\_temp” that I have highlighted above, to one not higher than 80 (else it won’t be accepted by the printer at the next reboot and it will ask you to correct it). For safety reasons, I suggest to not go higher than 60 anyway.

You could also set max\_power: 0.6 (60%) or test and find the highest value that is “quiet enough” to tolerate.

That would cut down the noise but help PLA prints that don’t want a high chamber temperature.
