Hi There,
I’ve got problems connecting my Octo4a with the SV06.
I have blocked the power pin of the usb cable.
On the phone, octo4a is saying, that i am connected to a device.

My Settings in are
Serialport: /dev/ttyOcto4a
Baudrate: 115200

The terminal log is:

```auto
Performing autodetection with 1 port/baudrate candidates: /dev/ttyOcto4a@115200
Trying port /dev/ttyOcto4a, baudrate 115200
```

Can anybody here tell me how they have connected Octoprint / octo4a to their SV06?

Thanks, Tiefcoolkost

Did you update your firmware from the initial firmware? I know some people said Octoprint wouldn’t connect out of the box with one of the earliest firmware versions. Mine connects fine, but I flashed it with whatever version was available early Jan.

That’s the correct baud rate at least. I’m not sure what the ports look like on Android - I use Octoprint from a Pi and that connects without issue using /dev/ttyUSB0 in my case. If you haven’t ever updated your printer firmware, that might be worth a try though just to make sure you aren’t hitting that issue.

Hey @AdamByram thanks for your answer! Yesterday I have flashed the newest Firmware (2.0.??) but still nothing.
I think i will try and reinstall octo4a and see what happens.

Reinstalling octo4a did the magic, my octoprint is online 😀
Don’t know, what went wrong first.

Tiefcoolkost,
What are you running the OCTO4A on? How is it connected to the SV06?

Hi wayne, right, Octo4a is a way to youse Octoprint on an old Android-phone. This way i can recycle a phone with bad battery and don’t need a seperate webcam.
