Hello. It seems I am the most unlucky sovol user here 🙂 At the first day the printhead pcb board burned out, the usb-c connector seems to be faulty. The devs team generously sent me the spare parts and now I am on assembling stage. I’ve connected all the wires but the printer does not see the new pcb. It keeps sending me errors " `'extra_mcu': Unable to connect`" so I assume I need to make configuration changes. I’ve found the file MCU\_ID where the extra\_mcu board id is written and I think I need to write a correct one here. How can I get the id of the board? I have ssh access and orca slicer connection to the printer, so these are my tools 🙂 I will be very thankful for any advice. Thanks ---

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve already done that and they sent me the spare parts, that’s great. But it seems I need to reconfigure something to make it work again 🙂 ---

You can query device ID’s in Mainsail or Fluid. Thanks, but I see only the main board info, no other devices here. I think I need to reflash the image of the main board. ---

I don’t think the toolhead board is “talking to” the mainboard. Either Sovol neglected to flash the board or (more likely) the meltdown shorted data to 24V and fried the mainboard usb host chip ---

I’ve received the new motherboard that sovol team sent me, and everything seems to work for now. Thanks everyone for help!
